Lola Ekugo – Head, Digital & Innovation at Union Bank Nigeria
Lola is a Digital and Innovation specialist with over 14 years of experience in the industry. She started her career as a software engineer at Investec Asset Management, London where she was responsible for the development of digital solutions in the asset management portfolio. Since then she has worked in various capacities across different roles in the financial services industry in Europe and Africa at companies including Dresdner Klienwort, Commerzbank and BNP Paribas. In 2010, she received a Portfolio Restructuring Unit Excellence award at Commerzbank for her contribution towards the largest ever CDS auction. She spearheaded the Digital Innovation Labs initiative at FirstBank Nigeria, where she was responsible for formulating and accelerating the Bank’s digital transformation and Innovation strategy in Nigeria and across its subsidiaries. She is currently the head of Digital and Innovation at Union Bank Nigeria where she is responsible for defining and implementing its Digital & Innovation strategy and road-map with a focus on identifying new digital product/service/fintech opportunities, optimising customer experience across channels and improving operational efficiency using technology.

Fabienne Ntwa – Founder of B4Purpose
Fabienne Ntwa is the founder of B4Purpose, a new Toronto based start-up. As a professional Finance & Risk Manager, Fabienne has a 10-year experience in financial institutions such as BNP Paribas. In the past 3 years, she actively worked to build an ecosystem for social entrepreneurs and impact investors in Africa and Europe. Fabienne has volunteered with social enterprises, microfinance institutions and impact investors in the UK, France, Belgium, DR Congo, Haiti and Madagascar by helping them measure and report their social and environmental impact. In December 2019 she decided to launch B4Purpose as a bridge between small and medium businesses and the sustainable development goals; with the mission to help enterprises find affordable solutions in their path towards becoming more sustainable and prosperous.

She also possesses experience working at the international level on countries in Asia, Caribbean, Europe and the Pacific. Skilled in Policy Analysis, Strategy development, Research, Social Impact and Performance, Local Content/SME Development and Sustainable Development.
She holds a Bachelor of Science – (BSc) and Master of Science – (MSc), focused in Economics from the University of London, UK (SOAS and Queen Mary College)

He has worked with over 35 ventures in Africa and other emerging markets.
He has a background in software engineering with honours from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering. He previously worked at IBM and Nortel, resigning to co-found Gourmandia, leading the company to generate $7+ million at its peak, becoming the 4th popular web platform in the food niche behind major food sites.
Blandine Umuziranenge is Founder and CEO of Kosmotive,
Kosmotive is a social enterprise that focuses on improving reproductive, maternal and child health in Rwanda. Early in her career she worked at Rwanda Broadcasting Agency and Contact FM radio. She holds a Postgraduate in Social Innovation Management from Amani Institute, a Bachelor’s in Business Information and Communication Technology from Mount Kenya University and an Advanced Diploma in Information Technology from Tumba College of Technology. Her nine years of experience combine Information Technology, Leadership Development, Social Entrepreneurship, Pattern making, Sewing, Natural Dyeing, Digital Security, Photojournalism and Film-making; and she is a Script Writer, World Pulse Featured Storyteller and a Fashion Designer.
Since she founded Kosmotive in 2014, she participated in Africa entrepreneur Collective incubator for one year, after which she has been awarded for Akili Dada Fellowship and attended its social entrepreneurship and leadership yearlong program. At the end of 2015, she has been awarded for These Numbers Have Faces Accelerate Academy Fellowship through which she attended the world-class entrepreneurship training program from Regent University. From January to July 2016 she attended the Peace Through Business Leadership Development program from Northwood University.
